Omar Kermad has started a new site called Shop Dev. With it’s lovely Web 2.0 style design it has some fantastic mods and tutorials for Cube Cart.
He drags CubeCart screaming into a modern Web 2.0 enviroment with modifications like;

Smooth Gallery Mod which uses JonDesign’s SmootGallery for all kinds of slide shows, show cases etc.

Combine Product Description Tabs and Additional Product Fields to have a really powerful and beautiful AJAX style tabs within your product descriptions.

I especially like the Dynamic Search Suggestion mod which converts the standard product search field into an AJAX powered, auto-suggesting power horse!

There aren’t many mods there, but the emphasis is very much on quality and uniqueness rather than quantity, visit his site for more tutorials and mods.
