This morning I upgraded to the latest Wordpress 2.5, along with, perhaps, 500,000 other people…

and I’m liking it! Visitors probably won’t notice a thing on the front-end, but the administration area is where Wordpress 2.5 really stands out.

The upgrade was amazingly easy, I just extracted all the new files, ran upgrade.php and it was all done - perhaps 20 seconds worth of work? Kudos to the developers.

I won’t go on about the new features, 250,000 other people have already told you, just wanted to say how impressed I am with it!

Every once in a while you stumble upon some really useful Firefox extensions that make you wonder what you did before!

I recently fitted a series of 8 recessed downlights in my living room. It wasn’t as simple as I’d originaly hoped.

I’d like remove all references Wordpress plugins put into my HTML code.
Am I selfish? Or just prudent about security?

Whilst I am in no way against plugin authors advertising themselves in the HTML code of any Wordpress blogs I set up (for myself, i9000 Networks, or clients), I still feel a little concerned that the more devious of web users can instantly gain a list of plugins I use, to potentially exploit.

Back in August last year I posted about a new resource called Ajax Rain that lists Ajax/Javascript/Dhtml examples and demos. Well, now they’ve hit over 1,000 entries.

Sites like this come and go all the time, but it’s nice to see a site succeed like this.

Looks like some of my reported CubeCart bugs got fixed in the new release.

Swell! Here’s to me being even more annoying towards the 4.3.1 and 4.3.2 releases.

CubeCart 4.2.0 was released on 20th February. Its quite a mile stone release, featuring several long requested features.

For example, store owners can now set Custom SEO URL Paths and Custom product options (Text Box/Text Area) for individual products. (more…)
